Artists Update

from Richard Waldron.

My new website is being developed by a superb web expert team led by Norry, my rapidly becoming right hand. See www.richardwaldron-art.org for website under development.

I am currently working on two signature pieces. One is threatened Tigers with a twist to the painting. The other, in early concept only, is a visual comment on the tribe/race/colour theme that has besotted human society since the greed of the slave traders. It may take a few months as I am working on my website a great deal as a priority.

My next exhibition is at Painters Hall, Little Trinity Lane, the City of London, being one of several known artists showing for just two days. I shall be exhibiting a handful of works, including the SAA winning still life Apples and Apron and Boris's dilemma in 2020/21.

ART IN THE CITY 2021 Monday 4 October - Wednesday 6 October

Open daily 10.30am - 5.30pm

'Art in the City' is an exhibition of work by artist members of The Painters' Decorative & Fine Art Society, held each year at Painters' Hall in the City of London. You'll find an eclectic selection of oil paintings, watercolours, sketches, pastels and decorative pieces, together with works in 3D. Tuesday Riddell is one of many talented artist members exhibiting work at this year's exhibition. 'Forest Floor' is a fine example of her 'Japanning' technique.

www.painterstainersart.com/store/ is a buyers experience which benefits art based charities. The Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers is the fifth oldest of the 110 Livery Companies in the City of London and therefore has a long history closely connected to the development of the City. The Company, comprising fine and decorative artists, received its first Royal Charter from Queen Elizabeth in 1581 and today its energies are directed in the support of education in arts and crafts.
